VE Commodore Exhaust systems
Drone, mufflers that ‘blow out’ over time, illegal length
headers are but three of the issues faced when choosing a
suitable exhaust system for your VE Commodore.
Utilising our 3 fleet VE’s provided us with a real world
opportunity to develop exhaust systems capable of a)
delivering positive power improvements b) an excellent and
unique exhaust note that is quiet in normal driving, yet
aggressive under heavy loads c) will not, under any
circumstances, drone, d) would look the part, e) be
manufactured to the highest possible standard – better than
anything else currently available, and f) systems that fit
easily and precisely without any fouling.
The result is a full range of products including:

OE style 1 ¾” into 2 ¼” into 3”
headers that in flow bench testing deliver similar flow
characteristics to larger 1 7/8” headers – without fear of
touching ignition wires or the like. Our 409 stainless steel
headers are unique in their design, high quality performance
and ultimate exhaust note (when combined with our cat-back),
and were the first Commodore headers available with
integrated Euro3 compliant metal substrate catalytic
converters.

Twin 2 ½” 409 stainless steel cat back
system manufactured exclusively using mandrel bends, and
hand fabricated mufflers. Accurate fitment, absolutely no
drone, sensational note, 100% quality guarantee and
warranty.

Exhaust
Serious horsepower needs a means of escape, and the best
most efficient means is through a well designed, large
diameter exhaust system.
At VCM Performance we realised a need for a new exhaust
system capable of coping with massive engine outputs, while
working efficiently on the road and the racetrack. Having
not been able to find a quality off-the-shelf system capable
of coping with the 500rwkW power of our CV8 Monaro, we
decided to build our own.
The system sounds brilliant, flows with virtually no
obstruction, is manufactured from 409 stainless and is
designed for both road and track work whereby users will
have no concerns about the vehicle being too noisy for any
condition. These are the best you can get. No bling, just
efficiency and high quality.
Why no twin 2 ½” option? Because there are many other
quality systems available in the smaller diameter market,
however 3” is a very different story.
